AC art experience 2026:
Ilona Rainer-Pranter / Durchlässige Formen (permeable forms)

The AC Art Experience is entering its next phase.

At AC, we also aim to create a space where architecture and art engage in a vibrant dialogue.

With our exhibition series, we hope to offer young artists a platform, foster creative exchange, and open our office as a space for inspiration, connection, and new perspectives.

On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 5 p.m., we will open the exhibition “Permeable Forms” by artist Ilona Rainer-Pranter (born in 1986 in Lienz; studied painting and graphic design at the University of Art and Design Linz).

Rainer-Pranter’s painting moves between figuration and abstraction. Lines, forms, and structures of the visible world are layered, condensed, and become increasingly permeable. This gives rise to abstract pictorial spaces in which vague remnants of objects are hinted at without being concretely identifiable. The works depict what remains when only a distant memory of something persists—fleeting forms, structures, and color harmonies.

You are warmly welcome! The artist is present.

We thank the artist Ilona Rainer-Pranter for lending her works for this exhibition here at AC.

About Ilona Rainer-Pranter

Photo: Elias Bachmann

daughter of mountain farmers, close to nature and rural architecture i want to express this embossing in my work. landscape, horizons and architecture is the main subject of my work. in my paintings i reduce these elements into abstract matters.

my intention is to develope connotations in the viewers mind, which are carrying away into the world of personal images, experiences and impressions.

"it feels as if I were trying to grasp something exquisite, almost infinitesimally delicate, with a hand enlarged and inflated out of scale, while I am simultaneously trying to catch something gigantic, fat, bulging, rolling away with a different hand, dainty and fragile.

It is an eternal search for the proper depiction, for meaning, for fulfilment, for value. where is the entrance, where the exit and where am I going to find myself again?"
